I joined here after having the second transmission issue on my 08 passion in the last month. Fist trouble due to low voltage was fixed with a new battery and the software update. Today we're having more problems where the car wont shift into 1st or second gear.
Anybody have similar issues or experience? My 4-2 only has 9000 miles on it.
How can the car not shift into 1st or 2nd? I'm a bit lost here. You start the car and it's in 3rd gear? Or you start in 1st fine, go up in speed, then can't come down into 2nd or 1st, stalling the engine when 3rd can't keep the rpm? Or can't you get it to drive?
