I test drove the Smart in September over at the Bridgeport mall but reserved a Smart in late June. Be sure to sign up for the Smart Car America member map, we need more west coast people. I think we're outnumbered 4 to 1 by the east coasties.

Welcome to the forum. I have owned my smart since March 2006, and love it. It is an imported 2003 passion coupe, modified for the US EPA/DOT specs by G&K for ZAP. We had the first one in Idaho, and the second in the Pacific Northwest. I hope that your dealerships will stock accessories that work for the 450 models as well as the new 451 model.

The dealership is in Beaverton on Canyon Rd. west of the 26 but east of 217. It will be a stand-alone smart center so it will not be connected with a Mercedes-Benz dealership. Construction on the building is almost complete - so if you drive buy, it's almost recognizable!

Hey Don, if all the 450 owners would put 450 into the cars owned part of their member info I think you could then search and come up with a list.

I sure wish you guys were located closer to Portland/Vancouver; I work up on Pill Hill & live up in North Vancouver. Servicing will have to be a Saturday only event for us folks that don't want to sit and wait both ways on the Sunset Hwy. I guess it beats driving up to Seattle.....lol. I'm looking forward to driving "out west" for a visit to your new store.

The Oregonian story from November indicated that cars would be available to test drive at Kuni in late December, & purchase on January 2nd. Is that still the plan?

No, it looks like we're running a little behind schedule. Last I heard we will have cars by mid-January to test drive. I will keep everyone informed on the site as soon as I get a definitive date.
