New Owner Checking In

We got our new 2008 Passion, Metalic Blue with Beige interior on 1 November. Mounted a Valentine One radar detector (how's that for optimistic???) and have tinted windows, graphics, mats and LoJak. I plan to purchase the alternative body panels in yellow, and hopefully intake and exhaust. Ay some point, I will do wheels and tires...!

Thanks to smartYsmileS and maxtraxduffy for the welcome!!! I have been having a blast with this new toy. I normally drive my 2008 Corvette Z06, the Nissan Titan or the Mercedes C230 Kompressor, but haven't been in any of them since I got this last Saturday. It was an 'orphan', so I didn't have to go through the wait for an order.

I'm having NO luck adding a picture to my profile and don't know what I'm doing wrong. I reduced the size and I still get a failed message. Any ideas???

First, congrats on your new toy.
I have read somewhere in the forum that a new member has to post at least 3 times to be able to add images. You just reached 3, want to try again.

I'm with you on that!!

I just got home from a trip with our new SMART car and I found myself banging 80mph all the time with it. I was trying to run 70 or less, but the needle kept hitting 80..

I think it's German thing and the ankle angle on the German Oscar, the human form used to design the interior of vehicles.. I have the same issue with my Mini Coper "S", when I'm comfortable the thing is usualy on the high side of 80 MPH???

Ray,

I just got back from Germany-love that autobahn, but don't think I want to rent a smart there-usually get a Merc or BMW.
