Hi all, I just bought my Passion yesterday after a lot of consideration. I want to use it as a business car to do short runs to the post office and would have the advertising on the side. The small size made sense to fit it into a crowded garage and as a car my son will be able to drive in a few years. The extreme styling makes much more sense for something to advertize than an ordinary subcompact. If my numbers pan out, the car should increase business more than enough to pay for the car, so it only made sense.
I appreciate reading the thread about the polycarbonate roof crazing, as I saw exactly that at a couple new cars at the dealership. People don't realize that simple stuff like Windex or petroleum based car waxes will do that. I used to design with plastics, so saw that coming. The fact that it was happening to brand new cars and the fact that it makes a pretty effective greenhouse to heat up the car led me to the decision to get a hard top roof option. I'll need to wait until Tuesday to get the car, but I think it will be the better way to go. I added the wrap graphics right into the financing, and got a great 1.9% financing deal.
