New Owner-they're dealin'

Hi all,

We have had a silver/black passion coupe reserved since May,08. We stopped by our local smart dealer just to "look" at the new metallic gray color on one of their cars. Turns out that we now own that orphan. It is a loaded gray/black cabrio with 8 miles on it. The dealer even knocked off $500 from the sticker price to make the sale. We drove it off the lot ....

Congratulations, Don. I just got an "orphan" black on black cabrio 12 days ago! You will absolutely love it -- especially when it gets warmer...

Hehe, I am lovin it now. 75 degrees down here in the Austin area. One reason I moved to Texas. I hate snow and cold rainy weather. Top down is great.

By all means, enjoy it before it gets so hot you have to run the A/C to enjoy having the top back, LOL. Winter is best enjoyed in the south, for sure.

Nice job! Enjoy.

You just had to figure that dealers would have trouble sticking to those MSRP's. They're not immune fromeconomic forces.

This is BIG news.

Now if their is any cance of dealing on the price of an orphan, why order a car. But in nowone orders cars, where will the orphans come from?
