New Smart owner here!

Just introducing myself. I just picked up an 09 Passion orphan here in San Antonio, TX. I had made a reservation a week ago and then I find out they had several orphans. I guess I got a pretty good deal in that they only charged me the 08 price for the car. It is the white with black frame and black interior. I call it 'The Egg'.

I will be using the car as my rainy day/ run errands that have too much stuff for the motorcyle car. Normally I ride my motorcycle to work if it is dry and not below freezing.

Things I want to do to the car:

1. get a cargo cover
2. get the tach, analog clock - can't stand manual shifting without a tac

Of course I want to do a bunch of other stuff but I gotta be realistic about money. I would love a new radio but that will probably be quite a while from now.

Get your cover from California Pop Top, they fit great and look good, service is great. Like you want to do, I added the tack/clock pkg after the fact. I put my Harley sticker right in the middle, lower part of the glass hatch...

Congrats satxbiker. Funny that you call yours 'the egg'. My boss refers to mine as the 'Easter egg' mine is yellow/black/black. Enjoy!

Yeah, you can think of the smart as a bike with training wheels, and windows you can roll down when it gets hot...
