Just dropping a line to say "hi". Got my Passion at the end of Jan '08 in Pittsburgh. I was the 4th one in PGH that got one. I now have 2,300 miles on it. Had every intention of putting it on Ebay and making a wind-fall profit (but the government would probably have added an extra tax on me). I figured a couple thousand would be nice. While it was listed on Ebay I was driving it. I decided that if I didn't get $10,000 over the price I paid for it, I wasn't going to sell it since I grew to love it. Needless to say, I was "only" offered about $3k over what I paid for it. I did not sell and don't regret it one bit (even though it is in the shop as I type this to get the sticking gear selector replaced-which everyone has heard about that problem). As opposed to what they advertise it for: urban areas, I live in the country and drive 20-50 miles a day to work through the hills of Western PA. I'm 6'4", #225. It has pep! I'm getting about 37 mpg (no highway). I have my Tahoe parked in the drive. I just use it now to haul kids/boyscouts/soap box derby ect around. I thought I would get board with it but not yet!
