New Smart in Tennessee

We (wife acutally) bought new Smart in August. Been on list of 18 months. Passion, yellow. Remorse at first when she sold her Isuzu Trooper which was a great. She loves the car and I get to drive it when she needs my car for grand kids. I have learned that when I go to store or run errands, that I need to plan extra time. I actually had one guy follow me to a store to ask questions. He works for Nissan but was real interested in car for wife who commutes.

Anybod else out there in Nashville area?

Congratulations! There's a few Smarts in middle Tennessee. My wife drives her red & black Passion Coupe to work every day - I get to drive it on weekends if I wash it! We live in Hermitage.

I live South of Murfreesboro toward Shelbyville. I got my smart on January 26th (first in the state). Drive it to work in Nashville one day a week and have about 5,100 miles on it so far. We used to get lots of photo takers, questions and conversations, but as time goes on more and more are out there and the excitement is chillin out.

Passion, white/silver, white powder wheels, large tires all around, painted grille and rocker panels.......

I live in Springfield, TN and have been driving my white/black smart since May. I have a 82 mile round trip commute to Franklin each day. Only draw back I have is all of the questions I receive. Enjoy yours!

I've had my Red/Black Cabrio for a couple weeks now if you see it scooting around Belmont/Green Hills. If there wasn't an 18 month waiting list, I could've probably sold ten of them from all the test drives I've given.

My brother lives in Nashville, actually Brentwood, does that count? LOL.

I also own a Isuzu Trooper '98, which I love even with the horrible mpg. When I get my smart I'm just going to park my Trooper in the garage and use it when I need to carpool or carry a large load. It's long paid for, and has been a great car.

Yellow and black was the color...

Yellow and Black was the color my wife originally wanted. But they notified her that it wasn't available for 2009, which was when our car was scheduled for dlivery. They called with a couple of other 08's but none were right. She ended oppting for a RED (Pumkin) and Black 08 orphan car, and we are loving the heck out it so far..

Congrats on your bumble bee
