Hi I was anxiously waiting to see the Smart Cars in US after seeing my first in VanCouver 2 years ago. I was hooked. I registered only 2 months ago, but got mine at the White Plains dealer last week as an "orphan". Lucky for me a guy turned his down!!! The salesman said his wife threatened to divorce him if he bought it. Glad they are still together and I have my red Cabriolet convertible, leather, the trimmings including one extremely expensive extra that I would have ordered ordered - LoJack with the early warning. A waste of $850.00 but it was "take it or leave it" deal.
One friend suggested that I get plates that say "STUPID" or "Dumb Car" - they were both available, but I reconsidered and am for now sticking with what the state of NY gave me. But with (ex)Governor Elliot Spitzer = I may have considered a different plate.
I just want some assistance with how to mount my XM radio, where to put the receiver, and where to connect it to the fuse block. The antenna is not a problem as it works perfectly on the dash up against the windshield.
