Hi all,

I just got home from the dealer (Laguna Niguel) with a brand-spanking new Smart Passion Fourtwo. It's Crystal White with the black cage and it looks mighty cool. It will be replacing my GMC 4x4 Sonoma (13mpg city, yuck!) for most of my driving, and may even replace it permanently!

I haven't showed it to any of my friends yet, but I thought I'd share my joy with new friends here first.

So, as a new Smart owner, what have I got to look forward to?

Enjoy the joy you get while driving and the joy on the faces of people you drive by. The smart makes people incredibly happy. Kids get particularly excited.

Oh, and in a few weeks you'll get your "emergency kit" from smart with a $5 gift card for gas, $5 gift card for starbucks and $5 giftcard for B&N. So - 2.5 gallons of gas, a cup of coffee, and a magazine. Sounds like the ideal emergency kit to me.

OH - and you can also look forward to coming to these boards and "oohing" over what others have done to pimp their smarties.

Congrats. Driving one of these is more fun than I have had in years. Expect people to come up, ask questions and get fingerprints on your paint. Enjoy

I've had mine over a year and I still look for places to go just so I can get in it and drive. My wife got one six months ago and she feels the same way. Our CRV sets for weeks at a time.
