Drove/rode in one in '04 in Transylvania (of all places), wanted one ever since. Just did the order thing on 3/20/08, keeping fingers crossed it will come sooner than later. Order thingie around 14xx. Ordered Passion, red/silver w/black leather (convenience package). Seemed to be the most common and therefore the one easiest to find 'orphaned'.

Welcome aboard! I reserved (again) on March 3rd with a 1523, so I'm guessing you're up in the 1500s somewhere.

Good luck to you getting one quickly. I just configured my reservation car last week that I reserved in September. Thought I would have to wait a few more months, but got a call yesterday about an orphan. I'll pick up a red Pure on Friday. Thats after only 2.5 weeks on the orphan list. I told them I wasn't picky about color, options, or even model so maybe thats why I got called so quick. My dealer didn't even add any dealer options. How lucky am I!

Actually my order number is 14xx, I can't quite recall the last two digits (it's in another bag). I ordered from Edison, since they don't seem to sell them w/i 75 miles of me. (I'm actually closer to where NY, NJ and PA meet.

I got really lucky, my dealer called me on Friday, they have an orphan and offered it to me!!!

I had originally ordered red/grey passion coupe, and this is bumblebee coupe, but that was my second choice anyway!!!

I'm hoping (as soon as financing comes through) to pick it up next week!!

Will let you know more as it goes on.

Definitely cool! Congrats! My orphan was an all silver passion and I love her dearly but I would have been insane over a bumblebee, very nice indeed.

Which end of NJ are you in?

Good, good, good, lots of excitement over a new little one. Congratulations and best of luck. We introduced friends to our blackie last week and guess what.....she's called to be on the orphan list.
