I went to the local Smart dealer today and negotiated a deal for "Spike". Spike is a Passion and will come home tomorrow at noon! White with black stripe and red interior. Too COOL!!!!
I'm glad you have a open mind. The smart is the likely the most unique vehicle you will have had to date. I still can't believe to this day (3 months) that I have my smart.

...membership....I believe $15 is the cost...give you entry to the members only page...with the tech section, the do it yourself threads and a larger mail box...but to me it was a way of paying back for the help I got here when I knew nothing about this car...just me..
