There are a couple of blind spots around the seats, but those are minor, and yes, there are people who appear out of nowhere and will let you know if you cut them off.
Other than that, my sugesstion, go to the nearest Smart center, and take a spin in one, get known on this forum, and ask lots of questions. Look at their site
www.smartusa.com and look at all the specs on this little wonder, and please get really freindly with that nearby center and inquire about orphans ( Reserved cars once configured by the prospective buyers, but backed out when it came time to take delivery)
One more little word of advice, since there is a waiting period to get a Smart, begin the saving plan for one now, and paitience is a great virtrue. I did not actaully wait a full year to get a Smart, i was very blessed and graced with an orphan equipped the exact way i wanted it. Once you get one of these unique cars, you will love it.
