Ohio Orphan List

Hi I've place my $ 99.00 order for a SmartCar and am now wondering if anyone knows where I can sign up on the Orphan list for Ohio? Thanks all.

Yes - smart center Bedford (Cleveland) or smart center Easton (Columbus) at this point. There will be another one in Cincy by September.

...but just so you know, the orphan lists are long at most smart centers and as in the case at SCI (smart center Indianapolis) they have VERY FEW orphaned smarts.

get on the lists that John told you about, but do your best to be one of the FIRST at Cincy. that would be your best bet to get one before the first of the year, in my opinion....

you might also ask those other smart centers what they are doing with their 'showroom cars' and how they plan to handle the sale of them. will they treat them as an 'orphan' or will they be doing something completely different?

I believe at Smart Center Easton (Columbus), all the showroom models are vehicles ready for delivery, although the red Passion Cabriolet they had in the showroom this past Saturday.. I'm not sure if that car is orphaned or is waiting on its owner.

I don't know where in Ohio you live, but we are in Northwest Ohio and the closest dealer to us is Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I picked up my orphan the very first day I drove or looked at the car. I went in to possibly put in a reservation and came home with a brand new Pure, red/black with air, radio 10. Love her!!!!!!!!!

I live in Plain City.. which is located in CENTRAL Ohio.. on the northwest side of Columbus. I live minutes from I-270. I deal with the dealership Smart Center Easton on Morse Rd in Columbus.
