hey i used the search button but couldnt find a way to phrase this.. i just ordered the cabriolet but now i want the coupe.. do i have to order a new one or wait until they call me and let them know i want the passion coupe? any input is better than no input thanks in advance

If you mean Reserved, and are on the reservation list as you describe; you will be offered a chance to configure your car. At that time I believe you can change everything.

Even if you've configured, you have the option of changing - it may delay 1-2 months, but given the 6 month wait after configuration (for west coasters) what's another 2 months... just contact smartusa and they'll tell you how to do it via e-mail... get what you want, you won't be sorry...

Just put in another reservation and then call and cancel the other one and get your first $99 back. Then no delay

i called and they said it was no problem that in 6 months when they call me to confirm to let them know i want a coupe and it will not delay. but anyway i put myself on the orphan list. its only 100 ppl infront of me

when I reserved in March 07, I asked for red. When I configured in Oct 07, I changed to met blue. No delays. Got mine as part of the first Jan 09 batch...

Stated s/s/grey extremely basic pure at reservation, but clicked w/s/r passion w/options at C&C. Got exactly that. 363 days from start to finish.

im starting to like this forum a lot more.. you people are extremely helpful unlike other forums were they will blast you for any lil thing.. all your input is greatly appreciated.
