Panel Change

Bought an unclaimed yellow passion orphan in Dallas this month and a new set of deep black panels which was my color preference. Just love this car. The sales woman said it would take an hour to change out the panels but it took me about 6 hours the first time, even with my good mechanical skills. An Indy pit crew could do it in an hour. I do believe I could knock the time down to 3 hours next time. My 14 year old daughter expects to inherit the car in high school in 2 years and if that happens I would reinstall the yellow color for high visibility, cuteness, and the blab factor in which I would always know her whereabouts from sighting reports ( which is a fathers dream).

Shhhhh... I wouldn't tell her that part about knowing her whereabouts from sightings if I were you.

I have a 450 model, and it takes me about 3 hours to swap the panels. Hardest part is moving all the clips and small hardware attached to the panels. If I was only swapping panels from one car to another, then an hour would be plenty of time.
