Hi All,
It's great to know such a community exists of like-minded, eco-friendly greenlings.
I hope to pick up a smart passion when I leave my vacation home in Victoria, BC and head for Seattle. Apparently there is an orphan waiting for adoption there with my name on it.
We saw our first smart, a diesel, on Salt Spring Island, two years ago. It was two toned green and its license plate said "Kermit". We were immediately smitten.
It has taken until January of this year for smart to make its way to the US and we would be the first in Mendocino county in California to own one.
Needless to say, we're excited. Not only at the prospect of picking up a new smart passion but from not having to wait in an 18 month queue.
I hope to continue to participate in these forums and become as passionate about this little car as so many others already have.
Cheers!
Greg (Mendo Man)
