Picked up my new Brabus last Thursday

I picked up my 2009 Brabus at the new Nashville dealership last Thursday. It is silver with everything on it. I simply love it. My dog Oliver, a chocolate standard poodle, loves it too. He has a pad in the back to ride on and watches the world go by from the open rear window.

I would have thought that having the rear hatch open would suck exhaust fumes in

The open rear window thing has been mentioned before in other threads. I would almost think if the side windows are open and the rear hatch it "might" be ok. I'm sure people would argue it, but what about the convertibles? They are just missing the top portion compared to a coupe with side windows down and hatch open.

OK, armchair scientists, prove my theory wrong.

Hum, . . . . as a long time pet owner, I'd recommend a nice doggie seat belt, and Doggles for protecting the eyes from harmful particulates and sun. With my current pet, a Westie, she is always doggie belted in her safety Look Out Doggie seat. But in no way would I leave that back window open. Don't believe it's built for such use.
