Congrats majorfreefall!! I got my passion on 3/5 and look for excuses to drive it every chance I get. The buying experience was unique and unusually enjoyable. Like you, I looked at other cars, but like susie1382 says, (paraphrasing) I fell in love with the smart car and each time I drive it, I fall in love all over again. Beautiful post by susie1382 by the way - sums up how I feel very nicely. As for support for the smart - my smart center in Seattle calls quite often to check in with me and is very curious for feedback and does everything they possibly can to make sure I have everything I need. I hope all those people with reservations can wait & not give up hope - it's worth it!

Driving the smart makes driving fun again - it's going to be really hard to turn it over to my wife when I start commuting on my motorcycle again. I keep looking for excuses to not ride - never thought I'd ever do that!
