We went to the Louisville Smart dealer yesterday and found a Passion we loved, except for the color. So it goes back on Tuesday for a color change! We were amazed that this could be done. The guys at the Louisville store were very helpful and explained everything. Our ride home was very exciting. We sure drew a lot of attention where ever we went!
Most comments were very positive. Now I just need to think of some places I "need" to go so I can drive it some more!
Welcome to Smart-Nation. How long was your wait on the Orphan list? Was there much of a dealer markup with add-ons? We adopted our Passion 2-1/2 weeks ago (traded in a Ford Excursion) and have had a great time. The hardest thing was getting it registered - first one in our county. When we drive by, everyone smiles. Have a great time with your new Smart!
We will be changing it to white. It did have some options added but considering the alternative of the long wait we decided to go for it. We called the dealership to go for a test drive and brought our smart home the same day! We were lucky they had 2 available. We are having a great time with all the second looks and many questions. A lot of people assume it's a hybrid vehicle.
I am enjoying driving again.
