Picking Up A Passion '08 Demo on Saturday

Well, . . . . my patience has finally run out. . . . . . . . (it's all YOUR fault, too). And I've only been waiting since St. Valentine's Day '09 when I put that $99 down. The very next day, got a call from a Pittsburgh, PA sales rep - listing the orphans available - and she added, BTW we also have a loaded 08 Silver Metallic/Silver Cell Demo. Swoon! (In only 24 hours - I had changed my mind 3 times on the color choice, and silver/silver was my dream choice at the moment. Well, . . . you know women!)

After a wonderful test drive this past Saturday (and advice from other SCOA members) - I decided I could not wait a year for that dream vehicle - and the '08 had more than I could ever wish for. So - we are picking it up on Saturday - Oh, Joy of Joys!

Those "orphans" are all in need of a good home - even the ones with a little more age (like me).

I wouldn't mind picking up an orphan but not a demo. In my mind, demos are like rental cars... But hey, that's just me.

Yeah! Can't believe I'm doing this either. Intended to wait that whole year. But this little baby has only 1500 miles, the exact color I love (that matches my silvering hair), – Leather Heated Seats, Power Steering, Rain Sensor, Fog Lights, Smart Sound – 6 CD with 2 tweeters, 2 mid range, 1 sub woofer speakers, Clock and Cockpit Rev Counter, Anti-Theft Alarm, Rubber Mats, Rolla Carrier, . . . . (what the heck is a Rolla Carrier?) etc. - for far less that a 2009 and more extras than my present Linc Cont.

And I don't have to wait!!! Ta da!

Right now I'm trying to talk my Hubby into visiting our daughter in Macungie, PA to show it off in a couple of weeks - only a 5 1/2 hour trip from Pittsburgh. Need ideas though to fasten the dog down in the back with her seat belted carrier, . . . . . hum . . . .

Haven't been this excited in years.

He then "demonstrated" the cars handling by doing 4 or 5 donuts in an empty parking lot. By this time my wife is so shook up she declined his offer to drive the car.
