prior to posting a question. There are over 1,600 items in the General Discussion area alone; chances are pretty good whatever your question is, it's been covered already. Doesn't mean don't ask, just have a look prior to see if there's already an answer for you. If not, fire away.
Another problem akin to searching is the use of thread titles with no indication what the thread is to be about. It is like email spam with come-on subject lines to seduce you into opening it.
If you have a question about, say, the air conditioner fuse it would be a lot better to plainly title the thread "Air Conditioner Fuse," not "Does anyone know...?"

Unfortunately, I've had very bad luck with the search feature, presumable others have too which is why there are so many redundant threads. Many of the thread titles are funny and cute, but, unless you get the key works just right, you come up with nothing. It seems that you need to include a text search of the posts as well. (the google addition hasn't improved the situation much.) Still,if you are patient and keep looking, you can find a lot of good info on the site.
