I first saw the smart in Italy, while performing my Navy Reserve duty in Naples. I came home excited and told my wife these would be inthe US someday and that we would have one.

Well, last April, she got our reservation. We took delivery April 12 2008. after 3200 miles, I STILL LOVE my car!

My daughter loved them too, and ordered hers last May. She got hers the Friday beofre fathers day this year!!! I guess we are a SMART FAMILY!!!

Yup. My daughter and I both have Smarts. Hers is a Yellow/Black Pure Coupe, mine is Red/Black Cabriolet. Heads turn, smiles glow, thumbs go up when people see us driving down the street. I've had teenage girls hang out the windows of their car just to yell at me how cute it is! The only downside? The local police force knows who we are because we are the only two with Smart cars in Glendive! (And maybe Eastern Montana!)
