I don't know about the future, but my wait was 430 days or 14.333 months.

My smartcenter was Buckhead.

I just got a call from the dealer. I ordered my smart on June 20, 2007 and it should be here on September 14th 2008. (14 months & 24 days)

I put my $99 deposit down 12-15-07 and my DDE is May 09 - July 09.

So I am looking at 18-20 months.

I bought an orphan to help my suffering until I get my delivery.

Your long wait is probably due to your location and the higher demand there. I reserved in early April '08 and my DDE is May - July '09.
Go figure!
I am driving an orphan to ease the waiting pains, too~!

My delivery estimate is 24 months.

By that time, I might as well wait for a MDI CityCAT.

I have a 1541 res, I got an orphan almost 3 months ago. I'm probably going to get my $99 back soon because I got the car I wanted.
