We got our smart cabriolet on May 23, 2008, a 13 month wait.

Yep. got mine in June 2008 after a 10 month wait. I live in New Mexico and the wait fro a fortwo here is 18 months +

11 months + 2 days wait so far. DDE says 9/27 plus ~90 days. I'm happy I got my orphan 6 months ago (was part of the first shipment to my region!!!).

I believe if you reserve now,12-14 months is very optimistic. Sorry it's not better news. Part of me wants everybody who desires a smart to have one and part of me is happy that they're rare.
