Reserving a Brabus

Hi everyone, this is hopefully the first of many posts here. I have a quick question about reserving a Smart. I'll be in the market for a new car in about 6-9 months and I'd really like a Brabus Cabrio. I've heard the waiting list is quite long and even then I might not get a Brabus. What would be my best course of action to get a Brabus sometime before 2010? Are they even making a second run of Brabuses? I'd just go to a dealer and see if they have any that aren't claimed but I'm not quite ready to get a new car. I basically just want to time it so I'll be getting it around the time I need a new car. I'm not ready quite yet as I said but I also don't want to be reserving the car when I'm in the market only to find out I have another 18 months to go before I get it. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the community. I learned a lot and am much informed from reading the posts.

I think the Brabus reservation is closed. Getting a demo or adopting an orphan may be the way to get yourself a Brabus Cabrio. Either way, you have to contact your Smart dealer. Good luck.

I guess I should put down a reservation and just hope I end up getting selected for a second round of Brabuses or maybe a new version(start/stop, EV, turbo) and hope for the best.
