I hadn't heard about the smart car until a couple of days ago, and I actually saw one and opened the door of one (didn't get in though) I was very surprised on how spacious it is inside. It is a neat car, I would just recomend being careful when being in anyone's blind spot when driving

Oh, ok. Then answer (a) above. You knew the owner (kinda). At least the owner was aware of who you were.

A stranger's smart would be a smart owned by someone you don't know.
