Saw one.

I hadn't heard about the smart car until a couple of days ago, and I actually saw one and opened the door of one (didn't get in though) I was very surprised on how spacious it is inside. It is a neat car, I would just recomend being careful when being in anyone's blind spot when driving .

Oh, ok. Then answer (a) above. You knew the owner (kinda). At least the owner was aware of who you were.
People have been known to try to enter complete stranger's smarts, without permission.
That's why I asked.

I'm sorry I'm new to this forum stuff, I don't even know what a stranger smart is.

A stranger's smart would be a smart owned by someone you don't know.

Anyhow, glad to know you liked the car. Hang around the forum and read up on it. Lots of info here.
