Size and shape of trunk

Does any one know if their is a difference of shape or size to the trunk area between the soft or hard top passions.

Reason is I am trying to order a cargo cover base from weather tech but they tell me it is different between vehicles but other websites do not distinguish
that there is a difference when ordering, they only offer one for the hard top smarts.

Thank you for your help in advance.

This is my first post from south Florida

Hi and welcome to SCOA!

I believe the cab and coupe have the same cargo dimensions... course, if I'm wrong.... watch this space.

if you set the two cars up side to side you'll see the difference between coupe and cabrio. The roll cage and extra soft top mechanisms take up some room in the convertible. I'm not saying this to put down the cabrio but if you plan to maximize the interior size you will get more in the coupe. Of course when you open the roof you can stick anything you want out the top so in that case the cabrio does better.

I don't know how this would affect a "cargo cover base" though - if you mean a "floormat" for the area above the engine...

Weather tech shows their cargo mat does not fit the Cabrio, but I think I recall Smart Madness stating that they carry it and that it does fit the Cabrio as well. Might want to touch base with Rachael there to confirm, when she gets back or maybe whoever is minding the store can do so as well. congrats to Boris and Rachael on the celebration of their now Wedded Bliss!

To be perfectly frank, the Weathertech does not fit the Passion coupé perfectly either - the front lip of ours ends up being folded back by the seats in the all the way to the rear position. Other that that, though, it works well enoung.

Terry, do you have the matching floor mats up front? How do you like them? Good coverage around the Brake pedal rubber boot?
Thanks,
Rich

I have a set of smart logoed floor mats in front, the ones with hook fasteners to hold them in place. They're not the best that I've ever had, but they're working well enough. I have the sound attenuation mat over the engine compartment in the back, with the Weathertech plastic one over it. Other than the minor issue of the lip folding back along the front edge, it is working well as well.

Thanks,

I have the weathertech mats up front, and they match the floor very well. They have properly sized cut-outs to match the floor pedals. They stay in place pretty well. Overall I'm very pleased.
