39 - 44 MPG no matter how or where I drive. Seems to be closer to 39 when the wife and daughter drive it though.

My highest is 49 and as low as 35 (I was going 80 in the mountains..). I do more highway than city and I just tell folks 40.

Aree there no diesel versions being sold anymore? My 2005 diesel gets on average 65 US MPG. Best tank was 84 MPG but that only happened once. I'm just curious as to how your MPG compares to othe compact US cars.

After my 1000 miles....41 to a high 45....will get better I think as I learn to max out the mpg....but REAL happy now! MPG was not the main reason to buy....signed on in June 07 when gas was not the issue it is today.
