Also what oil viscosity do you recommend for Southern California climate & driving (which means you stuck in traffic going nowhere fast but a lot of idling).
I had the set added after delivery, glad I did. The tach surprised me, if the rpms are correct, and now I can read the time. I'm in HOT socal as well and have yet to add or change oil but will stay with the factory recommendations...
Full synthetic; oil use can be based on the outside temps your car normally sees. 0W-40 for colder colder climates, 5W-30, 10W-30 (or 40 if you think it's needed) for warmer climates. Unfortunately, the USA owners manual provides zero guidance.
