Tech Help (electrical wiring)

Hey guys, I'm new to this. My name is Eddie and I'm actually a mechanic in dire need of help on technical information for Smart. I was hoping someone out there can help me, please. I need wiring diagrams, electrical splice and connector locators, and possibly CAN communication bus line schematics. Cannot seem to pull any PCM codes, can communicate with SAM, ABS, and instrument cluster ok. Someone please help. Eddie

Sounds like you need the Mercedes STAR system with smart info; unfortunately Mercedes has not released a service manual and the smart USA dealers aren't letting out info.

However, for up to $450 a year you can subscribe to the smart USA online service manual: smart USA Owners Portal - Subscription Plans

Hope this helps.

Another good source for you is Ron Gaus at asmartcar.com
He handles the 450 line.

I believe he is a member of this board

Still looking for help? PM me for my phone number and I will help you. Remember you cannot pull codes off the non G&K cars using an ordinary scanner.
