I ordered the gray metalic, silver tridon cell, and black leather. Should be here in 2 to 3 wks. Has been so long, and now seems unreal, it is almost here.

I just received mine from California. A 2008 blue Passion Coupe with silver tridion on Ebay.
We don't have a dealer in Hawai'i yet, so I would like to know what are you doing for maintenance,if you live in a state without a Smart Center?
Thanks

I just bought a cabriolet. I always want to buy one. Finally I get my chance . However I am a little disappointed with its performance. It run great on the Highway but very hesitant as it is going to die eveytime I start it from a full stop. Did I get a bad car or it is how it is behaving?

Actually, I expect you have a "normal" Smart. With a 3-cylinder engine, they do not do 0-60 in seconds. I believe the "hesitant" start is normal ;-) You can get used to it. And driving mine 200 miles back from Austin to Dallas TX Friday, I found myself doing 85 mph and had to slow down. So it really is just the start that's slow.

newbie here

1st post! I bought a 2009 blue passion cabrolet with silver tridion in June at the Smart Center of Dallas. I just had a Rosen multimedia navagation system installed. I've come a long the learning curve to a bump in the road that I can't get past. I thought that a dvd should play when the shifter is in park and I do get the audio but all I can get is a glimpse of the vidio before the silver screen with the words CAUTION -VIDEO VIEWING WHILE DRIVING IS PROHIBITED. The service tech who did the install didn't know of a fix, but I thought some techie out in internet land may know of a jumper setting that would fix it. Thanks in advance. John L.

p.s. I wanted to leave a email for reply but the boss said I have to post 3 times first!

More later as time goes by

pre-owned and easy to park

I found myself a metallic blue "fully loaded" cabrio at a Jeep dealer just outside of Chicago. Very happy with all the teeny, tiny parking spots I can squeeze myself into in my downtown Chicago neighborhood.

But the people who slow down and stare at you on the highway is a bit nerve-wracking!!

Hi everyone, I bought my Smartie yesterday! It is a metallic blue with a sliver tridon Cabrio. Can't believe how big it feels inside. And I like that it doesn't sit too low to the ground.
I am going to use it in my business, Anabell's Escentials, on old Route 66 in Sapulpa, OK.
We actually had a lot to choose from. I'm not sure Oklahoma has realized the fun and economy of the Smart Car.
I choose mine because it has the tan interior and I like that better than black.
Hope to here from some of you who have had their's awhile and new owners too!
Annie
