'09s are suppose to be arriving in the showrooms in October or November. i would imagine that either 'A': you're getting one of the FIRST 2009's or 'B': the DDE is running rampant.

i believe 'A' is the correct answer, as one of the guys here in Indiana had his DDE move up as well right after he configured. i wasn't so lucky though...

of course, 'B' can NEVER be ruled out.

Well, since October is only two weeks away that is going to have to be one fast moving ship to get that car to California! I think maybe the DDE has lost it's mind

I'd go with B myself; my DDE jumped just after I configured as well... to the same month I configured in (September, running to November).

The DDE has such a wide range that it really doesn't mean much until the car is on the boat. It sounds like that in the past, people car their cars at the early range of the DDE - I have a feeling it'll shift to the middle or end of the DDE.

Still waiting for my fortwo. My wife and I saw them in Germany a few years ago. It seems like everytime we came upon one I would take a picture. I thought at the time that this looked like I would like to own. So I put in my order last year and am now just waiting
