Thinking of buying a passion

Looking for as much information as I can get to see if this car would work for me. I live in wisconsin and I was wondering if this car runs well in the snow. We have a front wheel drive Matrix and it does very well. Also has anyone found that no spare tire to be a big pain in the a#$. Does the US smart have a drain plug for the oil. I have read that some models need the oil sucked out. Please feel free to give me all of your honest opinions this will be of great help. Thank You.

Check out the posts under:

You can do a search to find posts for snow, spare tire, etc. Lots of info here and we're working to get it better organized.

I paid extra for a spare when I bought my '99 F450 truck - I've owned it for 9 years now and over 90K miles and in that time the spare has been in a shed in my back yard. My motorhome did not come with a spare at all. My wife's Escape has a spare and has never seen the light of day. I really don't think I'll miss one...

read here for snow:
Longer test drive with snow/ice

oil drain plug and filter EZ to see.

A tire would fit in the back if you had to.

I have had two flats in the last 25 years, as long as I have a cellphone someone else can worry about my flats. For pennies a month State Farm includes towing and roadside repair. Smart will cover roadside work during the warranty period so I would not worry about flats.
