too much fun!

One week ago I got my smart. Since then I have had a blast driving it. This is the first car I have owned, everything else I drive is a truck. Ok, I have a Goldwing motorcycle but that is not a 4 wheeler. I have been in high winds with rain so heavy it was white all around, blowing sideways. The smart didn't care. It moved some but nothing like the big van bodies on trucks will. I equate my smart with driving a go cart. Heard the smart would be slow but have not found that to be true at all. If you drive a straight stick you can figure out where the sweet spot is in the rpm. The smart likes to run rpm between 4k and 5k. This car is way cool. I take all the crooked roads I use my bike on. The smart will take a curve! My environmental business will look even better once the car is decaled.

Glad you're having such a great time with your new car!

The worst green business wrap I've seen was shown on this forum: an H1 Hummer.

too much fun? what's that mean? That's like too much money. Theres no such thing.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
After driving almost exclusively in auto for the first 5-6 months, I now find myself using and enjoying the manual shifting much more. And the bonus? 40mpg while driving like I want and not like the auto does.

I guess that was a bad choice of words. How about massive amounts of fun? That work?

Welcome, glad to hear of others who also find it a blast to drive

On a related note, I get so sick of the potshots Autoblog makes at the Smart because they didn't know, or care to try, how to make the most of the transmission :P

Wow Albert, your experience with the smart is almost exactly like that of cfbsmart--its even word for word! How does the esp on your smart handle when you drive through a large puddle of spam?
