Top Speed

Any info on what the top speeds, highway speed feel, up and down overpasses, etc.. and long distance interstate drives are like in the Smart Car? My test drive consisted of a 25-35 mph cruise around the dealership and there wasn't a 55 plus mph street near by. I've seen Smarts on the interstate and they seemed like they were keeping up with traffic. Thanks.

Electronically limited to 90 MPH, which it will do easily.

Boreilly. 12k on ours and it will run up past 90 with ease. Here in Michigan freeway traffic moves at 80-85 so 90+ is seen from time to time.

Car is tweekie at high speeds, and one must pay attention ,but feels very controllable at all times.

High wind gust days (over 35 direct cross winds ) are best handled below 70. Bridges and overpasses use winter rules. (Remember the Yugo) A2Jack.

Both 4th and 5th are overdrive gears, with 5th high enough that the car's hp and drag won't let it achieve top speed.
