ummmmmmm......................hi?

hi people of the world here my name is bryan and i love smarts!!! now the thing is i mainly like the roadster but is there any1 that has imported it yet??? i'm 15 and pretty soon i am about to have 10G's or 10K for buying a car. (no i am not "minted" as the people at theroadster.net say) So does any1 know where i should start??? i wantd to save up to a Porsche cayman S but realizing that i could only get so much i decided that i should look back at the roadster and see what i can do with it. other than that i would definetly buy it if there is another 1 4sale other than the 1 in beverly hills that i have test driven...yes i have driving experience...no i dont have a permit

Hi people of the world. My name is Bryan, and I love smarts!!! Now, the thing is I mainly like the roadster. But, is there anyone who has imported it yet?
I'm 15, and pretty soon I am going to have $10K for buying a car. Does anyone know where I should start? Realizing that I could only get so much, I decided that I should look at the roadster and see what I can do with it. I would definitely buy one if there is another one for sale. That is, other than the one in Beverly Hills that I have test driven.
Yes, I have driving experience, but don't have a permit. I've been driving illegally.

Don't mind NCC, he's just bitter that you're getting the 10Gs and didn't offer us 10% for helping you.

If you live in Palmdale, 10Gs isn't that much ... that's like, lunch there, isn't it? NCC and I are from an area where that's a half year's salary, so be careful how you toss around dollar signs.

As to the roadster, if you can repair it yourself, source the parts and know a lot about everything, go for it and see if you can import it. But if you're 15 and all you've got is cash... get something widely distributed. The Smart may or may not be for you... you'd be dependent on a dealer network for a car that sells 25,000 per year vs. something like 500,000 per year for some individual GM models. That said, the Smart fortwo isn't a Toyota, Hyundai or anything commonplace - it has a personality, and you either love it or hate it.

I'm sure no one hates you here, it's just that you're very young. A Porsche and 16 years old are definitely a bad mix. Get some maturity on your side and lots of driving experience before you try and drive a car like that. And I'm sure the insurance companies would agree with me too.

nahh 10g's are alot here. if you have 10G's it either means you hit the lotto or...lets just say "borrowed" it from somebody else. but this is money 've saved for 7 years, I did'nt want to buy anything but a car, something interesting to drive, like the smart fortwo. But 10k is alot and im richer than my dad at this point.
