Up Late in Terre Haute, IN

Suffering from late-night munchies and was bored. Anyhow, I stopped in at the Smart dealer in Indy this eve and was impressed with what I saw. They had a few cars sitting around, and I just had to nose around in all them. Later in talking to the sales rep, I was surprised to find such a long-time wait list on the vehicle of my choice.

I'll probably go back in a week or two and plunk down the 99 Georges for a white,silver,beige passion. So I'll be keeping an eye on this forum. I will be looking for ideas on accessories, especially the addition of Sat radio and criuse control. From what I was able to glean today, I guess there is now an aftermarket kit available for the cruise.

Better stop now and try to get something useful accomplished. Nite all!

So, have to get the real answer from actual residents:

Is it pronounced "Terra Haut" as spelled, or "Terra Hut" as some folks in Ohio say it?

oh, and btw 'sleepless in Terre Haute', just do as "Chief" suggested..ORDER ONLINE! much easier and you can save yourself a trip to Indy.

on the other hand, if you were coming to Indy anyway, then drop in and plop down your 99 Georges. OR better yet, take in 9,900 Abraham Lincolns, the round, brown kind. i'm sure they'll be thrilled to see you!

That's as bad as Argos...most pronounce it like it's spelled, but everyone that lives here pronounces it Argus!

There may be a few dissenters but as earlier noted, it's Terre Hote and
Veego(although a lot of people DO say Veyego.

I do go to Indy quite a bit, so I'm not at all concerned about the trip over there.

By the way, I'm not really not a Boiler fan.
