Smile vkingmc

I have reserved a passion and very excited about it. I want to know if the
smart will be towable behind a small motorhome.

Currently, the concensus is that the Smart needs to be trailer towed.

Apparent;y the car cannot be towed for more than 50 miles with a towbar, and the ignition has to be left on. See page 262 of the Owner's Manual: Smart Car Owner's Manual

Of course, general consensus has been with the 450 model. No telling what the recommondations will be for the 451, with a completely new engine, tranny, and gear shift mechanism.

Agreed: The aforementioned Owner's Manual is for the 2005 (450) model.
