Ok, this is weird. You are rwj and 1495. I am rwjrn and 1496 I also have a DDE of nov08 to Jan 09. I didn't actually have a DDE until a couple of weeks ago. Originally it was for Jan 09 to Mar 09. 2 days later it went to Dec 08 to Feb 09 and the next day it went to Nov 08 to Jan 09. Anyone want to buy a cabrio?

My wife reserved in Late May 2008, configured it about 10 days ago and now has a DDE of November 10, 2008 to February 8, 2009.

I reserved my in May 2008, have not got to configure yet. But since last weekend when I checked my wait it changed from Aug-Nov to July-Oct. I will get more excited when I get to configure. But any change is nice

Its now at April-June 2009!!

I sent my $99 in mid September 2008, have a DDE of Aug 09-Oct 09.
That's plenty of time to get my financial ducks all in a row.

It ticks me off that I keep seeing all of these people that reserved way after me already have their cars or have a reservation date before mine.

I think Penske Auto Group's policies stink.

I do most of my driving on the freeway and don't really like the convertible part of the car. I got an orphan (actually the dealer showroom model) and didn't figure on being able to configure so soon. My DDE moved up to Oct - Dec 08. I was planning to give the car to my sister assuming I had it for the year and a half I was expecting, but I owe a little more than would be practical to just give away at this point. I like my sister, but not that much.

It does seem that Texans get hosed more than others. Maybe Penske is a Redskins fan?
