as you. I configured in October, was Jan - March and then fell into the black DDE hole. It was gone for 3 months! On April 2nd I get the "you are 90 days away" from Smart. I call the dealer. They have nothing - I did get the old 'Come get an orphan' discussion too'. I politely declined. A week goes by and the dealer calls and asks what I ordered (shouldn't they know?). I tell them and they say they are pretty sure it is on its way and will be here in a week. I call a week later, she says she'll check on it in two days. Ok... Nothing.. I contact her again. Is it really coming? She tells me it is now stuck in customs and should be here in 2 weeks or so.
I don't know who to believe any more, but my DDE is back and moving every day. According to these threads that means something is happening.
So, don't give up.. One of these days your info will pop up and the dealer will call and say it is here.
I even went by the dealer last night to make sure my little smartie wasn't waiting in the lot for me but they forgot to call! No wonder there are so many orphans!
