Nice you'd probably have to walk in to get any deal there, phone calls unanswered, emails unanswered Heck I thought they didn't want to sell me a car

After I bought an orphan on a walk in basis the dealer said, "Please tell your friends you were on a long waiting list and didn't just walk in and buy this. And please don't send me anyone. I don't have anything for them."
I never received an answer to my email which is why I went into the dealer in the first place.

Wow, I didn't think smart was allowing dealers to obtain cars for direct sales?! I wonder if these where their orphans (they just don't have a list like the other dealers?)...

Interesting...

Sounds a bit shady to me. Congrats to you for getting one, but the dealer sounds like they may not have obtained them honestly, and certainly not exercising good customer service, if a dealer didn't reply to me I wouldn't buy anything from them. It has been my (bad) experience that buying the car is only about 1/4 of the relationship with a dealer, the rest is service and support. If they can't return a call or email, they are failing 3/4 of the time.
I hope you have another local dealer option, if not, I wish you luck my friend.

It appears smart has a few really crooked dealers out there. I have to be thankful that the scVABeach is great! I so much as hiccup and they bring me water. LOL Seriously, they have great service and great people.
