Hello, I am a newbie here. I currently drive a cadillac, getting a whopping 16 mpg. I just quit a sales job driving that thing all day. I have a harley out in the garage collecting dust. My dream would be to get rid of them both and buy a smart car. It sounds practically impossible, but I am very stubborn.
Katey, find your nearest smart dealer(s), camp out on their doorstep and tell them you'll take the next car available. Check out the cars for sale on this site as well as eBay. They are out there if you look hard enough. Good luck!

Stubbornness is a quality, a requirement in the process of getting a smart. Either the wait is painfully long, or ones PR talents are to be tested with your nearest dealership (orphan's list).
