We want to say hello back! Welcome to the forum. It's wise to do your research. If you haven't already done so, you need to get on the reservation list since the waiting period is quite long in some areas. You can do quite a bit of research while your reservation goes through the process. But even if you are considering buying an "orphan" (person reserves a car then changes his/her mind after the car's been built), it's also good to do research before you go to the dealer and buy the car so that you're familiar with the car's features (e.g., transmission, panoramic roof, etc.) and there are no surprises for you. This is indeed a fun and unique car, unlike anything else out there.
Good luck to you and hope you get the smart you want.
