What a fun little car, and without "issues"

No more worrying about rear main oil leaks or cracked blocks ( Porsche 996 and 997) No more worrying about starter/key problems (Corvette C5) no more living nightmare ( Maserati). No more dealing with overpriced body shops that always seem to need to paint the whole side of the car to repair a few scratchs in the paint ( $$) Today my two daughters, ages 9 and 10 and I replaced both the little hood and rear bumper, Now this black and silver 08 looks factory new and we did it with simple hand tools. What a well designed car.

I must agree with you. It is one fine little car and I am sure your daughters enjoyed learning about cars from their Dad.
