Who runs SCOA?

Hello, I was asked who runs SCOA and I really don't know. Is there a BoD and if so, what are their logins and titles? I just want to be better prepared before I give out club info. Thanks, Regina

SCOA is simply another level of membership in this forum.
If you click on User CP above, then go down Control Panel to Misc and on down to paid memberships and click the details will be revealed to you.

Regina. This site is controled by a rather mysterious person who stays way in the background. (Think Carnival as in HBO.)

I beleive our founders were part or all of the original group that brought over the first Euro Smarts and converted them to meet US specs.

What all ensued between this "Management" and Smart and PAG with Management's former web site. is a long story. I only know bits and peices.

I'll bet the full story would make good reading! Anybody know?

Thanks guys but I don't see a list or the names of anyone. I'm not looking for domain info just the name(s) or logins of the people who run SCOA. Like SmartBob is the President and Spdickey is the VP or something like that. When I went to the SCOA Customer Service page to ask a question on the site, there was no place to type a question.

I'm confused. So the site is running itself??? Who are the moderators for each sub? When I asked to have a new subforum created someone got back to me and said it would create itself (which I thought was a weird answer). So my final question is...Am I in the Twilight Smart Zone???

Maybe I shouldn't ask until I take delivery of my smart. (Paranoia is starting to set in). I'm sorry silent folks (or the folks who are in charge).

I never realized I was silent but either way it's fine by me! Anyways, I'm no pro at the smart car but I can hold my own pretty well!

On the club side of things I think its a great idea to think about some additional structure as we evolve.

best i can tell none of us here other than some of the dealers who chose to come here have anything to do with the delivery of your car... kinda sad that this unofficial enthusiast site is the best source of info and some of it terrible

The "club" itself (SCOA) was a name we agreed upon. The "we" being those posters/members who paid a reasonably small sum of money to help this site as it grows. There is no BoD as it is not a chartered or legal entity. I don't know who the "owner" of this site is, not does that matter to me. Right now it is a comfortable site and forum for me to visit. The "administrator" is Ryan who does his best to keep this site clear, clean, and informative. I hope that their ad revenue increases as time goes by, and that he appoints some moderators to assist him with his work load.

I'm happy to be here.
