Hello Bumblebee,
Is this Perry from Metroplex mini.org?

What do you mean HAD a ly/b mini?
Did you sell it?
I'm on my second ly/w/mc. my '03 was totaled by a redlight runner. I now have an '06. This SMART will be a second car for commutes and my MINI will be my big car.

ly=liquid yellow
w= white roof

Hello Bimmerdob,
What does the L stand for in your avatar? Y/B/L passion?
yellow body panels
Black tridion
L ?

Interior on the passion only comes in Red, Black, Beige Right? Or can we get the black with the grey swirl? or is that the Black they mean if you don't get leather? I wish I could see a Y/S/Beige picture to see what the beige looks like with the yellow. anyone got a pic of that combo?
My MINI cooper is yellow with a white roof and solid black interior. I was hoping to get a little different look and still keep my yellow exterior. Red with yellow will look like mustard mixed with ketchup (IMO only) so that just leaves beige, which looks cool, but what will it look like with yellow. Hummmm inquiring minds want to know.

I would think that L = leather most likely.

Personally I am still trying to decide between black or beige on my Yellow and Black cabrio.

Yup that'll be me. I had a 2003 LY/B MINI + all 3 packages. But mine had major issues with the cylinder head that'll cost me over 10K to fix It was drivable but once you reach above 3,000 rpm it miss fire. I traded in for a Scion xB but never really got used to it like the MINI. So now I drive a truck. I'm getting the SMART as my daily driver 'cause I'm tired of forking out $350+ in gas per month. The SMART will probably cut that down by more than half. I still have hopes to get another MINI someday. Just in the back burner right now.

WOW, what a great picture smartbob! I strained my over 40 yr old eyes and still don't see what the Y/S/Beige would look like? Does B/L mean bubblebee with black leather?

Looks like BMBLBEE may be a popular license plate for all of us Y/B/B owners. That was one of my choices.
