....from another forum?

Just curious, as it's quite possible that I, Big Panda, is about to be on a forum that I've been on for 2-3 years. Yes, sad but true.

I'm just wondering how one handles such rejection. Is it something that I want to put on a resume' when joining other forums? Probably not.

So, anyone else here been 'shut down' before?

No, I've never felt the sting of rejection on another forum, but I don't think I'd lose too much sleep either...

Not only have I been banned, I have had my IP address blocked

Used to moderate a fishing board, and the other fishing sites didn't want me to see what the $%@%$ they were stealing from us :-P

It would be good if we could block IPAs here. The moderators can read a poster's user name, IPA and originating server, but can only block by user name. I have seen many spam postings originating from commercial spam distributors and even from the same numerical IPA under different user names. It is an endless battle that begins in the wee hours of the morning.

Believe me, I won't be losing any sleep......that's what I do BEST!

Seriously, this other site has just gotten out of control and I have to hand it to all the moderators and Ryan for keeping 'in touch' with this one. I'll be the first to admit that I've gotten a little bent on here and crossed the line, but I'm reminded by SCOA, in a very professional manner, of the rules and our lives go on. The 'warning' I recieved called resulted in name calling and personally attacking my heritage and genetic makeup. I was shocked that this came from "THE" Moderator or 'Super Moderator' as he puts it.

Oh well, done venting here. Just glad I have someplace to continue to act silly and stupid......other than at work of course.
