Closed on Monday?

Is it just me or do you sit around all weekend picking out things to buy just to find out monday your vendor of preference is closed? Is there ~really~ a recession? I picked out wheels, tires and cruise control to buy today and no one wants my money.

Do you think people should be paid to be in the store more when there's a smaller amount of fixed business?

One can eaither start fighting for the scraps or resign themselves to what comes their way from the relationships they've developed in the good times.

Why not 24 hour service?

It all boils down to who wants your money the most. Clearly you can't sell if the doors are locked. I found someone that wanted to sell coil springs earlier. Still looking for someone who wants to sell wheels, tires and cruise control. I'm betting on a someone in the east coast time zone winning since it's noon before the west wakes up.

If you're happy to give your business only to the people that are ready to take your money the moment you're ready to give it, you have the right. It's your money and you can do with it what you will.

I'm happy to give my money to those I trust, who have shown that they won't leave me behind once a package is shipped (or even before). I have respect for the limits of smaller businesses who can't even afford to pay two people minimum wage without benefits to keep the business running 15 hours a day. But that's me.

I hope you get what you want in a timely manner and that the quality of the products and service brings no regrets. We want our smarts to be treated right!

I hope your upgrades are great - everybody needs a cruise control!
