Just heard the news. No shock to anyone.
Can't be political. But, regardless of one's political view, he was a giant.

EDIT: The Obsessive complusive archivist I am, I'm glad I just happened to be recording when the news broke. The fellow the right wing loved to hate, is dead.

Expelled from Harvard, convicted of leaving the scene of an accident where death was involved, and partied with people half his age on the day his party companion nephew was charged with rape. Yet the Kennedy name overcame all of that and net net, he did good. RIP.
